Unicorns Of Love Place First at LCL 2020 Spring

The spring split of League of Legends Continental League has concluded with Unicorn of Love defeating RoX with the 3-0 score. The winners of LCL 2020 Spring received $26,500 in prize money, while the runner-ups were awarded $13,000.

Both Unicorns Of Love and RoX finished the group stage with the 13-1 score, sharing the first place in the group. Later in the semifinals RoX outplayed Gambit Esports (3-0), while Unicorns Of Love defeated Elements Pro Gaming (3-0). The results of the grand finals’ first map, where Unicorns outplayed RoX, were annulled because the game was broadcasted on the English stream without delay. Despite that, Unicorns of Love managed to win yet another three maps in a row.

Initially the winner of the event was supposed to qualify for Mid-Season Invitational 2020, however RIOT Games cancelled the event last week.
