T1 Part Ways with Forev
28-years-old Korean offlaner Lee "Forev" Sang-don has parted ways with T1. It remains unknown who will replace him in the roster and where will the player continue his career.
T1, which is a powerhouse in League of Legends and has rosters in multiple other esports disciplines, has had a hard time trying to find a similar success in the much more volatile Dota 2 scene. Forev was the first player they decided to sign – the player joined the organization as a captain last August, however the first iteration of the roster was formed only in October. Due to the lack of results, the team went through multiple roster changes. This May the team was completed via the addition of Galvin "Meracle" Kang Jian Wen and Wilson "Poloson" Koh Chin Wei.
Since May the team has been playing without roster changes, which helped them to finally achieve some results – the team emerged victorious at two tier-3 events Hephaestus Cup and SEA DOTA Invitational 2020, as well as placed 7-8th at BTS Pro Series 2: SEA and 4th at ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League.
