OGA PIT Season 3 Preview: Eight Top Teams and $75,000 at Stake
This weekend Split, Croatia will host a premier Rainbow Six: Siege event OGA PIT Season 3, which will feature eight teams from Europe, Americas and Asia competing for a $75,000 prize pool and one ticket to Six Invitational 2020.
The event will be held on December 6-8th. The teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket, where all regular matches will be best-of-three and the grand final will be best-of-five with a 1-map advantage for the upper bracket winner. For the first series, the teams have been seeded as follows: Spacestation Gaming vs PET Nora-Rengo, G2 Esports vs MIBR, BDS Esports vs Team Liquid, Team Secret vs Luminosity Gaming.
The tournament has a clear favourite in G2 Esports, the winners of Six Invitational 2019, who this fall placed 3rd in Pro League Season 10 – Europe. They will be challenged by SpaceStation Gaming, who this summer placed 5-8th at Six Major Raleigh 2019, and Team Secret, who managed to reach the 3rd-4th place at the latest major.
