A South Korean player Jang "Moon" Jae Ho has emerged victorious at 2020 Chinese New Year Cup, an online WarCraft III event with ¥ 65,000 (≃ $ 9,477) at stake. In the grand finals of the tournament he defeated his countryman Moon "Chaemiko" Chae Young.
Moon started the competition by placing second in Group B, where he outplayed Sok (2-1) in the semifinals but lost to FoCuS (1-2) in the winners’ finals, dropping to the lower bracket, where he outplayed WFZ (2-1). In the playoffs he managed to beat LawLiet (2-0) and Fly100%. The final series concluded with the 3-1 score in his favour. In the 3rd place match eer0 lost to Fly100% (0-2).
