Aurora claim their first trophy by winning FISSURE Universe 8

Aurora were crowned champions of FISSURE Universe 8 after edging out Spirit in a tense grand final with a 3–2 scoreline. Prior to this victory, Aurora had never won a tournament of this caliber.

The final series was extremely close. Both teams played with stand-ins in the mid lane: Aurora got off to a confident start and secured the opening map, but Spirit quickly answered back, leveling the series and keeping the contest tight.

The third and fourth maps proved decisive. Spirit managed to snatch a win in a long and hard-fought third game, but Aurora responded with a victory on the fourth, forcing a deciding fifth map. The final game was fully controlled by Aurora and ended in a convincing win.

This title marks the first trophy in Aurora’s history and earned the team $125,000 in prize money. For Nightfall, it is his first victory at a top-tier tournament in several years. Spirit once again fell just short of the title, as the lineup with panto suffered their third finals loss of the current season and finished the event in second place.
