The Bulgarian team Windigo Gaming has emerged victorious at WESG CS:GO 2018 after defeating the Polish team AGO Esports (2:1) in the grand finals of the event. In the 3rd Place Match G2 Esports outplayed Fnatic (2:0).
To reach the grand finals, Windigo Gaming placed first in Group E, while in playoffs they defeated Furious Gaming (2:0), MIBG (2:1), and G2 Esports (2:0). The team secured $500,000 by placing first at the event.
The CS:GO part of World Electronic Sports Games 2018 took place on March 11th – 17th. The tournament’s line-up included 27 national team from all over the world, while the prize pool was set at $890,000. Detailed results are presented below.
