WESG CS:GO 2017 Finals: All Teams Set
The North African qualifiers for World Electronic Sports Games 2017 have concluded with a victory of Viva Algeria over Hyper4mance, finalizing the line-up for the upcoming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive finals.
The finals of WESG 2017 will take place on March 12-18 in Haikou, China. The $1,500,000 competition will include 32 national teams from all over the world, all of them made it through the regional qualifiers. In total, there will be 12 teams from Europe, 10 teams from Asia Pacific region, 5 teams from North America, 2 teams from South America, and 1 team from each China, Northern Africa and South Africa.

The main event will consist of two stages: group stage and playoffs. In the first stage the teams will be placed into four round-robin groups of six teams each with best-of-two series, the best team from each group will advance directly to the quarterfinals, while the bottom three teams of each group will be eliminated. The second stage will feature a single-elimination playoffs bracket with best-of-three series.
Prize Pool
The tournament will feature a whopping $1,500,000 prize pool, which will be distributed among the teams as follows:
