SicK Retires from CS:GO to Compete in Valorant
21-years-old American player Hunter "SicK" Mims has retired from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The player explained in his Twitter post that CS:GO became “incredibly stale and tedious” for him. Instead, Mims will try to compete in the new shooter from RIOT Games, VALORANT.
SicK started to play CS:GO professionally in 2015, being only 15-years-old. During his career he played for such teams as Complexity Gaming, Team SoloMid, Misfits Gaming and Rogue. His most recent team was Chaos E.C., which he joined just last month. With them he competed at FLASHPOINT Season 1, where the team placed 7-8th.
Chaos E.C. have not yet commented on the matter. Earlier this month the team aquired Logan "Voltage" Long, who replaced Owen "smooya" Butterfield.
Chaos E.C.:
- TBD
- Joshua "steel" Nissan (captain)
- Cameron "cam" Kern
- Anthony "vanity" Malaspina
- Logan "Voltage" Long
- Matthew "mCe" Elmore (coach)
