OpTic Gaming Presented a Completely New CS:GO Roster

The North American esports organization OpTic Gaming announced its new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster for 2018.

The new roster will consist of Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz, Shahzeeb "ShahZaM" Khan, Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke, René "cajunb" Borg and Nicklas "gade" Gade, making it a completely new roster – none of the players that played for OpTic in the previous season stayed in the active squad. While the first four players have been officially signed by the organization, gabe was loaned by North. Chet "ImAPet" Singh will continue to coach the team.

The previous OpTic Gaming roster, which consisted of Emil "Magisk" Reif, Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas, Adam "friberg" Friberg, Aleksi "allu" Jalli and Kevin "HS" Tarn, failed to qualify for ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 and disbanded. Later Magisk joined Astralis, while mixwell became a free agent. friberg, allu and HS are still signed by the organization but are benched.
