LEC Spring 2020 Playoffs Stage Finishes this Weekend
The playoffs stage of League of Legends European Championship – Spring 2020 concludes this weekend. Currently only three teams remain in the competition – Fnatic are awaiting their opponents in the grand finals, while MAD Lions will face G2 Esports in the lower bracket finals.
All of the teams remaining in the competition have showed a strong performance throughout the season. Fnatic finished the group stage on the second place with the 13-5 score, and later outplayed Origin (3-1) and MAD Lions (3-0) in the playoffs upper bracket. Meanwhile, G2 Esports and MAD Lions placed 1st and 4th in the group stage respectively. In the first round of the upper bracket G2 Esports lost to MAD Lions (2-3), dropping to the lower bracket and subsequently defeating Origen (3-1).

The lower bracket final will begin on 4:00 PM UK Time, April 18th, while the grand final is scheduled for the same time for April 19th. Both series will be best-of-five. The winner of the tournament will receive € 80,000 and a ticket to Mid-Season Invitational 2020, which earlier was postponed from May to July.
