Groups for ESL Pro League Season 12 EU Revealed

ESL have revealed the groups for the European division of ESL Pro League Season 12. Sixteen teams have been split into two groups as follows:

• Group A: AGO, BIG, ENCE, G2 Esports, GODSENT, Heroic, Natus Vincere, OG
• Group B: Astralis, Complexity Gaming, FaZe Clan, Fnatic, mousesports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Spirit, Team Vitality

The group stage will be played from September 1st to 19th, following a round-robin format with best-of-three series. Top four teams from each group will advance to a double-elimination playoffs bracket.

ESL Pro League Season 12 was initially planned to be held in Malta, however the event transitioned to online and split into five regional divisions – Europe, North America, South America, Oceania, Asia – due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The European division will feature by far the biggest prize pool among the regions; it is set at $450,000.
