GODSENT and Team Spirit Qualified to DreamHack 2020 Spring Europe

The closed qualifier for DreamHack Masters Spring 2020: Europe has concluded, determining last two participants of the event. Next month GODSENT and Team Spirit will compete for a $160,000 prize pool and ESL Pro Tour points.

The qualifier was played on April 18th-20th and featured eight teams competing in a double-elimination bracket with best-of-three series. GODSENT qualified to the event from the first place – they outplayed AVEZ (2-1), forZe (2-1) and Team Spirit (2-1). Meanwhile, Team Spirit defeated Virtus.pro (2-1) and OG (2-0), and managed to beat forZe (2-0) after dropping to the lower bracket.

The European division of DreamHack 2020 Spring will feature 16 teams competing for a $160,000 prize pool between May 19th – June 14th. Besides two qualified teams, the tournament’s line-up includes 14 invited teams, among which are Astralis, Complexity Gaming, ENCE, FaZe Clan, Fnatic, G2 Esports, MAD Lions, mousesposrts, North, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Vitality, BIG, Natus Vincere and Heroic.
