The European organization OG has announced that its both Dota 2 rosters will participate in the open qualifiers for the third major of the season, ESL One Los Angeles 2020.

The qualifiers will start already tomorrow, on February 7th and will end on February 8th. The European qualifier will feature a single-elimination bracket, where the final matches will be best-of-three and the rest of the series will be best-of-one. Top two teams will make it to the closed stage, scheduled for February 9-12th.

Recently OG have announced significant changes in their main Dota 2 roster – the team accepted Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan, Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng and Martin "Saksa" Sazdov. They replaced Jesse "JerAx" Vainikka, who decided to retire, Sébastien "Ceb" Debs, stepped back from the active roster, and Anathan "ana" Pham, who extended his break to the start of the next season. Earlier in November OG revealed their second Dota 2 roster called OG Seed.

According to Valve’s ruleset, two or more affiliated teams cannot participate in The International events. However, they are free to partake in major and minor tournaments.
