2020 Worlds: Team Liquid Qualified for Main Event
The first round of World Championship 2020 Play-In is over – Team Liquid have outplayed Legacy Esports in the tiebreaker for the first place in Group A, thus advancing to the main event.
The teams placed 2nd – 4th, including Legacy Esports, SuperMassive Esports and Mad Lions, will compete in the playoffs stage. Meanwhile INTZ, who placed last in the group after losing to MAD Lions in the tiebreakers, have been eliminated from the event.

The playoffs stage will be played on September 29th – 30th, following a single-elimination system with best-of-five matches. The best two teams of the playoffs will qualify for the main event’s group stage. In the semifinals, which will be played today, on September 29th, Rainbow7 will face LGD Gaming (7:00 AM UK Time), while SuperMassive Esports will play with MAD Lions (11:00 AM).
