100 Thieves Will Miss ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018
The North American organization 100 Thieves announced that its CS:GO roster won’t be able to participate in the ongoing ELEAGUE Major: Boston due to visa issues.
100 Thieves was formed just a month ago, consisting mainly of ex-Immortals players – KNG, FNX, LUCAS1, HEN1 and BIT. The team was eligible to participate in the New Legends Stage of the major due to the fact that HEN1, LUCAS1 and KNG placed second at the previous major – PGL Major Krakow, consequently getting their “Legends” status. Unfortunately, the organization wasn’t able to get visas for their players in time and had to withdraw from the tournament.
We worked incredibly hard with industry-leading immigration lawyers since the day we signed the players to get them here with plenty of time to spare. Unfortunately, things don’t always go according to plan. That being said, we can't wait to see these guys compete this year.
